Program Overview
Executive MBA program of Iqra University provides the participants with a high-quality, industry-relevant, graduate-level business education among a cohort of executive working in leading national and multinational companies in Pakistan. The incumbent will benefit from the expertise, experience and reputation of the program’s professional faculty as well as the peers in the program. Throughout the program, students will have opportunities to build meaningful social and business networks that can open new national and international career opportunities.
The Iqra University Executive MBA Program has an experiential and entrepreneurial focus. The program is primarily based on an interaction with the business leaders, innovators, strategists, and other executives to explore current and future business opportunities and foster excellence in work place. Another important highlight of the program is the key speakers from business, industry, trade, government, and bureaucracy to enlighten the participants of realistic business environments and entrepreneurial opportunities. The facilitators for each option will be rigorously selected and discriminately approved by a committee of the Iqra University program leadership. The academic rigor of the program’s curriculum is designed to provide students with an advanced international business education built upon the solid foundation of a graduate-level business degree. The program includes all of the key MBA courses essential for equipping participants with quantitative and qualitative decision-making tools and strategic competencies for a senior leadership position. Personal and professional leadership and management skills will be developed throughout the program, along with entrepreneurial acumen, advanced communication skills and cross-cultural competence as students engage with the unit instructors, the unit materials, guest speakers and program peers.
About Iqra University
Chartered by the Government of Sindh, Iqra University was established in Karachi in 1998. The University is a brainchild of Mr. Hunaid Lakhani, Founding Chancellor & Chairman of Iqra University, whose aim was to establish a premier institution of higher learning. Currently, the University has six campuses and more than fifteen thousand students enrolled in various disciplines. Iqra University is placed in category “W4” (i.e. the highest category) by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
The Faculty of Business Administration
The Faculty of Business Administration started its programs under the banner of “Asian Management Institute (AMI)’ in 1998. The faculty offers world-class, research-focused education to its students. The faculty of Business Administration offers Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degree programs in the field of Business Administration and Management Sciences. The program curricula are designed to cater to the needs of a globalized corporate environment. The department promotes professional development by maintaining strong linkages with the corporate world and engaging students in different industrial networking events and business competitions at the national and international level.
